the only thing that seems to make it harder is the strength of the enemies. One hit seems to take off half the energy you begin with, which isn't nice.

The Chief was pretty difficult. I had tons of ammo but not enough health. It was so frustrating I considered making space for the one shot rocket launcher to shoot him when his legs fall off.

I've not yet tried it on hard (not been able to use the gamecube much last few weeks) Im looking forward to this....
Dumb question though, is there ANY way to actually block/parry the chainsaws? its a right fucker when you want to get through it with no deaths/no saves and wee inbred fucked runs up behind you and stabs you with a saw...

Indeed. I enjoy the thrill of getting my head sawed off unexpectidly.
I never ever went and fought the second el gigante when you could pick which way you went.....Im glad I never, beacuse the thrill of jumping down and having 3 or 4 chainsaw maniacs running at you was FUCKING AMAZING!

theres boulders you can shoot to slow him down, you don't need to kill him, theres a key in a wee hut about halfway along you need to get through the door at the far end, so if youwant, you can just peg leg it, theres also a couple of doors with chains on you need to shoot off to get through, but it's more or less the same strategy as before, ceot you have the bint to worry aboutrifle to the face, if he's far away, tmp when he gets too close for comfort, , when he buckles, launch a wee volley of tmp shots intot he parasite, then climb on and hack away. I only did both to get more money for weapon upgrades, which by fuck you NEED in pro mode
The castle is now a thing of hell, onto the sewers and the insects.
4 - 5 shotgun blats a piece they're taking to stay down :s | |
