Management games on consoles are usually pish and I cant see this being a touch on Football Manager myself.

Actually, why doesn't Pro Evo have the license yet? I always assumed it was because they had to buy it and couldn't afford it but surely now they can. Most people buy FIFA because it has all the right names and shirts, Pro Evo could virtually wipe out the competition.

Unless EA have exclusivity on players "image rights".

Name rights are all that most people care about. Zidane looked like Zidane in the last Pro Evo and there's a screenshot of a player who is obviously Zurawski from the new Pro Evo so you don't need it for every player.

They've already done it about two years ago. It was called Winning Eleven Tactics. Never released outside of Japan. It was the J-League that was featured in game. I gave it an hour or two of play and chucked it partly because I did not have a full translation patch but overall because its just not as much fun as actually playing the game in Master League.

They realeased an update last year called European Club Soccer Winning Eleven Tactics

The games have a few nice touches but nothing special IMO.

If they could combine the Management with the actual Pro Evo game then they would be on to a real winner.

Names probably come under "image rights" agreement.
There are players in pro evo that plainly dont look like who they should.I'm fairly certain Davids for instance, has blonde hair.

EA has the EPL license stitched up but as you'll see with Pro Evo 5 there are a lot more licences for other club sides than in 4. EA has a deal with the EPL so that only they will have the full licenses for their games ie kits names etc. Konami are only allowes to license 2 teams due to this, They have chosen Arsenal and Chelsea this time. So I would imagine that it would be the same for this game.

No man definately not. Pro Evo/Winning Eleven has the best player likeness in any game out there at the moment.

McFadden is pish but the rest are good. Most of the big name players are photo realistic ie Zidane, Owen, Beckham, Rooney.
