Re: Late night pubs

Stavka is now open until 2am because it's now a venue and is putting on live acts. Tonight they have the guy off the Midouri advert (who slices the lime into 4 in mid air and gets it in the glasses ) doing a flair bartending show

hm... Firewater is now open until 3am too

Re: Late night pubs

I've only been in firewater once, but it pretty much seemed like a club to me, even though it's classed as a bar.

depends on size of venue, capacity, location and turnover, amongst other things, so there's no real way of even guestimating what most licenses cost...

Did you not say it was a hotel as well? They have slightly different licensing laws as well.

It has to be passed by the Scottish parliment I would think. 24 hour licensing only really effects England and Wales and is by and large only used for pubs that wish to be open until 2 or 3.

Personally I would love all pubs to be open until 2 or 3 as I am not much of a club person and object to having to go to such places should I wish to carry on drinking past 11 or 12.
