| Re: Derren Brown I saw Derren Brown live for the first time in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on 31st May and thoroughly enjoyed it. The highlight of the night for me was when he lowered down a box that had been sealed shut and hung from the top of the stage all night. In this box were his pre-show predictions for what he thought would come out of the nights show. It was mind blowing!
He got a few things wrong, which was actually quite refreshing. I'd love to get tickets to see him again, he puts on a good show. |

Yup, it was covered!

Yup, it was covered! | Are you sure it was covered by the curtain? The box was still clearly visible when the curtains were closed before the show started.

| Re: Derren Brown The box was tampered with, there's no question about that. I'm pretty sure that's when it was done.
The whole point of most of the show as how people can be made to miss important events in the foreground.
He set everyone up at the start with the gorilla thing, and executed the same stunt with the box.
I'm almost certain it was covered then, and I'm sure that's when it was tampered with.
I'm also pretty sure the curtain before he came on had that weird painted mugshot of him, but the one that closed then didn't. it was further forward.

| Re: Derren Brown I watched it and I am unsure. Dunno how the fuck he guessed right with 37 for the ball in the squash court. That was pretty awesome.
One thing for sure is that he's probably the best at what he does. Some of the shit he can do is amazing. Unsure about the whole "only being 1 number out". See the whole counting how fast the ball is going with one foot and counting the roulette wheel with the other, that would be fucking murder. Then take into account the bounce and stuff. And add all that up in a few seconds. Nigh on impossible.

| Re: Derren Brown A croupier (is that what the guy who spins the ball is called) can kinda judge/influence the general area of where the ball is going to land.
As for the player judging where the ball is going to land, I dunno...

| Re: Derren Brown He's a good magician, but you're never going to get a prime time slot these days with a "magic show." So they've got to set it up a huge freaky unexplained phenomenon type show.
It's nothing the Great Soprendo couldn't do with the same budget. |

| Re: Derren Brown In my eyes, he lost a lot of cred after the lottery stunt.
I just couldn't help but think it was a camera trick..
