| Abandoned, Derelict Buildings Are Fantastic Went up to a massive derelict hotel and hospital near to my auntie's house in Fife today. Spent hours exploring it with my wee cousin.
Stupidly fantastic fun. The hotel's a huge old building that closed down around 2 years ago, lots of long corridors, creepy stairwells, rooms, halls, kitchens and bars to explore.
The hospital, just behind the hotel, is a collection of three rather large buildings and is incredibly creepy. Exactly like something out of Silent Hill. An abandoned pram in the middle of a ward room. A creaky old wheelchair sitting out in the courtyard. A cryptic message written in the dust on the mirror in one of the rooms, it said "Stephen. 1720. Murder", anyone care to guess what that may mean? A box full of colourful childrens shoes left sitting on a hospital bed. I mean, this place hasn't been operational for decades!
Totally, totally, totally, totally ace.
Got quite a few photos, which I'll upload later.

I'll get pics up when I'm back in my flat.

My dad tells me that the whole thing (hotel and hospital) is getting pulled down in the next 12 months. They want to build houses on the site.
