I've looked up sodium on ebay but it's not for sale. Luckily, I'm in the kind of business where I know people who can procure some for me.

Collapse in the street and get someone to rush you to hospital under the pretence that you have asthma - wait til you're hooked up to the oxygen and siphon off a sample. Then say 'all better' and discharge yourself

They should hook you up to the most pure oxygen available if you fake some serious respiratory arrest and don't look like you have emphysema.

I imagine you could just lie about some of the dangerous ones. It's not as if anyone will be daft enough to pop the lid off and take a closer look at something labelled 'mercury'

Mercury isn't that dangerous, really. It's certainly not in the big leagues of dangerous elements.
I can get mercury easy peasy. Thermometer + Force = Mercury.

Mercury would be surprisingly easy to obtain - get an old sphig. or thermometer and burst it open.

Keep Gallium away from other metals as it will alloy with them.

I initially read that as 'will annoy them' and imagined a surreal image of gallium being a snivelling little geek who only wants to talk about chess.
