| Re: Electric Shocks from light bulb socket I get static shocks from the moment I touch the elevator button in my work til I leave the building. Almost every time I touch a rail, ladder or hanger. And every single time I touch the elevator button. I dont even know how. There are no carpets |

| Re: Electric Shocks from light bulb socket If you want superpowers, a vat's what you need.
Nice big vat of electricity. Fall into that, and it's supervillain agogo.
If you wanted to be a hero, you'd need to be bitten by a radioactive electric shock. But that would be absurd.
( I touched the cable going into my house's fusebox once. It did send me flying across the hall, but I'm fine. So yay.
What did your hair do, Hoody?
Or were you wearing too much Product for the leccy to have an effect? ) |

| Re: Electric Shocks from light bulb socket I've had 1 or 2 shocks. Once was when i was really young i managed to put my finger inside the case of a broken nightlight, when it was switched on A second time was a few years ago whilst trying to fix a rattling fan inside my PC, and, again, it was switched on! Can't even remember where i touched, might have been a capacitor, all i knew was that i felt a jolt and my whole arm went numb. Got the fright of my life.
Had hunners of static shocks mind u... but they just don't have the same risk factor

So we played a game where two of you hold it and have to let go last - but not get zapped.

| Re: Electric Shocks from light bulb socket I have this thing where i have an adverse effect on electrical equipment around me, i've destroyed countless lightbulbs, a few laptops, a few tvs, a hoover once and some other stuff. Anyway, being in such close proximity to so much stuff blowing up/sparking/fusing, i've managed NEVER TO GET A MAINS ELECTRIC SHOCK. I think i'm the one with the superpowers. I do however, get small electric shocks when i touch babies. What. The. Utter. Fuck. |
