| London Travel Advice (IMMEDIATE!) Ok, as you schmucks may know, I'm going to London tomorrow to see Neil Young. I need some advice on getting to certain places though. First off, I arrive at 5pm in Victoria Coach Station. I have to get to the Hammersmith Apollo for 7pm. What's the best way to get there? Taxi (much will it cost?)? Underground (which route?). Now, after the gig, I'll be going to my cousin's flat which is South Wimbleton (precisely Dowman close). What's the best (safest, quickest, cheapest) way to get there?
Thanks. |

| Re: London Travel Advice (IMMEDIATE!) The underground will be several degrees of magnitude worse than the worst hell would have to offer at that time.
Aside from that I have no more advice.

| Re: London Travel Advice (IMMEDIATE!) Just check the departure board when you get there. It probably changes from day to day anyway. |

| Re: London Travel Advice (IMMEDIATE!) Victoria to Hammersmith on the district line should take about 15-20 minutes. The district line isn't anywhere near as busy as the rest of the lines even during rush hour. tfl.gov.uk is the best place for planning your journey in London. |
