Me on the right, with a couple of mates.
The guy in the middle, Chris, it was his birthday that night. We were all buying him tequila, absinthe, etc. all night and then, when things where in full swing and he was struggling to walk, he gets a phone call saying his girlfriend's gone in to labour and he's to meet her at the hospital. So what do we, as good, trusting friends do? Stick him in a taxi with a tenner in his hand and carry on getting pissed in his honour. 
The nurses must've thought he was there to get his stomach pumped, not to deliver a baby. 
Also, see that whisky I'm holding? I asked for a Glenmorangie with ice. "What's that?" Asked the girl behind the bar.
It's that whisky, right over there *points* "No, I know what that is, what's the other thing?"
Ice? "Yeah, what is it?"
You don't know what ice is? "No."
It's those little frozen cubes you put in drinks. "Ohhhh, ICE!"
