that was one of the main reasons i dropped out in my first year and went to strathclyde instead

Really though, most of the folk on my course were from the east end etc, so maybe that explains it.

Obviously not everyone at Glasgow uni is that self-obsessed, I just saw a lot of that attitude growing up down the road. I used to rip the piss out of my pals at GU for not getting into Oxford.

dont get me wrong still in very close contact and really good friends with 2 folk i went there with...just found a lot of snobbery going on there more so than in the other academic institutions ive went to - but again, as i say i think that was largely to do with the faculty i was in
