1. Ghost tour.
2. The Stand. | It was only about £4 when we went. Depends on what night you go; Mondays are good. http://www.thestand.co.uk/listings/listings_glsgw.htm |

That's generally an amazing "date" for them.
I fucking hate "dates".

| Re: Good first dates. Surely it would be better if they just worked out what they have in common and then structure a day of fun around that? The reason that the cinema/meal combo is so popular is that most people can find a film that they both like, and the meal allows the conversational side of the 'date' that can't happen while you're watching the movie. If they can work out what they have in common (other than a desire to have sex with the other) then it'll make the whole thing a lot easier.

| Re: Good first dates. I highly recommend Tchai Ovna in the west end.
It's pretty quiet and cute, really great place to properly get to know someone and the teas are an interesting experience.
I'd say it's the best place I've personally been to for a first date.
I wouldn't like to do anything like go-karting on my first date, i'd be too concerned about looking good and it's not like you can really chat to each other as you whiz around a course.

| Re: Good first dates. I've been to Tchai Ovna once and the staff (and most of the customers) came across as incredibly arrogant and completely up their own arses. And this is coming from someone who happily proclaims her love for the West End. I was very unimpressed. |

| Re: Good first dates. That's the thing, their so awkward around each other the meal idea/tea room probably wouldn't work. At meals you feel you have to force conversation to talk to each other. Yeah I know the old "well if they can't talk at dinner..." theory but fuck that. It's funny, almost like being back at high school. I think something that's entertaining, that allows them to have fun, but be able to speak at the same time, something they can look back on and say that was cool sorta thing.
Liking The Stand & Ghostie tour ideas, that sort of thing. Quote:
