The thing is fro the clip I've seen, the guy has not broken the law, has admitted that he would like a young partner but has not acted on the impulse, and is campaigning to get the age of consent lowered. Now on the news last night there was an MP saying that she may well lower the age of consent in the UK. Does that make her a sick fuck too?

Now, I'm not saying that you have to agree with the guy, or even change your opinion at least on the basis of this thread, but given that he's NOT broken the law, is honest about his predilections and by his own admission has never molested a child, I don't see what's so necessarily wrong with his need to explain himself. We allow a lot of things in this country as long as they don't break the law and I don't see why this is any different.

Also castration doesn't act as a deterrent in sexual assault, either against minors or adults if I remember rightly from a study a while back, as I understand the urge is not simply sexual but also emotional and psychological. If this guy is seen as a "leader" for the peado movement, I also don't see whats wrong with interviews and studies trying to further understand WHY grown adults feel sexually attracted to children.

Personally I think some of the vitriolic hatred and ignorance banded about pages like the Daily Mail and the Sun, mirror very closely some of the knee jerk reactions on here, hence why I included it. It can be taken as an insult if you will.

Although, to be fair, most of my 'conquests' (a fancy word for victims) have erred on the side of 'interesting', perhaps even 'mentally non-conformist' so you may have a point.

admitting you have a problem and discussing it? fair enough. Letting your 7 year old daughter be subjected to acts she won't understand, enjoy or be able to say 'no' to? social services

Key point being he is admitting he has a problem and discussing it - not letting his seven year old daughter being subjected to acts she "won't understand".

As far as I recall from the documentary, he was against penetrative sex with anyone who hadn't gone through puberty because of the physical damage that would be possible.
He was all about touching, fondling, masturbation etc, and he believed children of seven could enjoy and express informed consent to these things. Regarding his daughter, he said that he would allow this kind of activity if it was legal and if he was sure she was happy about it.
Again, these opinions certainly need challenged, but lets keep sensible and challenge what he was actually saying, which wasn't that he was up for whoring out his daughter to paedophiles and shagging seven year olds.
