| Re: AM I Normal? BBC1 I wondered if my hijacking the thread would lead to anyone getting offended.
My work here is done.
I could comment on the subject matter of the thread itself, but its so provocative with so many nuances that im not gonna touch it with a hundred foot barge pole, made of pure circular discussion.

| Re: AM I Normal? BBC1 Tabloid journalism has a lot to answer for you know.
'This person is different from us and possibly mentally ill. What should we do with him?'
'BURN HIM.'
Logical approach there.
Listen to yourselves people. Would you suggest that a person with manic depression should be hung drawn and quartered? Or a psychotic or a schizophrenic?
So what's the difference when it comes to peados? Especially if they aren't actually doing anything.
We do live in the supposedly free world after all, where we are all entitled to our opinions. Now please go and watch Brasseye and realise that all your doing is irrationally persecuting a minority of people who need help. Quote:

Sick. Fuck. | For someone with an active interest in politics and apparently otherwise Liberal beliefs, you are pretty quick to resort to Daily Mail-esqe rhetoric.

Always sling this one out when somebody doesn't agree with you? Might I remind you guys that at no point have I suggested that we should "burn" him, neither am I "frothing" at the thought of such a person. I simply do not agree with him, you, or the theory that there's nothing morally wrong with him.
Yes I'm very interested in politics, yes I have fairly Liberal beliefs, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with you, Les, Puppy, etc. I think the man is sick. It's true he's done nothing wrong, but I entirely and wholeheartedly disagree with everything has said. If he's happy for his daughter to engage with "mutual masturbation" with a paedophile well then serious questions need to be asked over his parenting skills.
Now excuse me whilst I go down to the shop for my Daily Mail and froth some.

Just because he holds an extremely unorthodox and distasteful opinion, that does not mean he's actually going to act on it. He even says that he would not act on it because it is illegal.
I believe that terrorism can be used to achieve political goals. I don't go out and blow things up, because it's illegal.
Should I be imprisoned simply because I don't conform to the standard way of thinking and might commit/incite a terrorist act?

| Re: AM I Normal? BBC1 For me, the real shocking thing here isn't the guys opinions - but that the BBC paraded him infront of the country to induce some petty voyeuristic moral circle jerk for idiots. I absolutely agree with Draven, the guy is "sick" - but he's ill and in need of help, not to be put up in front of the nation as the latest facile freakshow to increase the ratings.
