#1 | | Guest | What is your most recently learned word? Ever since I embarrassed myself by misunderstanding the word 'verbose' then misusing it in an attempt to look cleverer than I actually am I've been trying to expand my vocabulary. To be honest, dictionary.com's word of the day isn't quite cutting it so as with all of life's major problems I'm turning to the forum for assistance.
What word/phrase have you stumbled across recently and subsequently put to good use? The more profane the better admittedly. | |

| Re: What is your most recently learned word? Oubliette \Ou`bli`ette"\, n. [F., fr. oublier to forget, fr.
(assumed) LL. oblitare, L. oblivisci, p. p. oblitus.]
A dungeon with an opening only at the top, found in some old
castles and other strongholds, into which persons condemned
to perpetual imprisonment, or to perish secretly, were
thrust, or lured to fall.
Will Couper's blog is educationally inspiring.

meaning; a fat disgusting whore you fire into then slam anytime you get wasted and have no luck at the pub. Read; a bitch that you wouldn't touch in the cold hard light of day.
Alledgedly.
If I ever get around to starting a new band, that's it's name right there. |
