Pot Noodle

Pot noodles used to be like "a treat" in my house when I was wee. They were so bad for you my mum would only buy them like every few months and I'd get all excited.

Now I think they taste horrific.

Fuck pot noodles. Pot Mash was where it was at. Sausage and Mash flavour with a pan loaf for dunking was the perfect camping breakfast after a night int eh pub.

Pot Noodles are gash, unless you're totally bevvied, but at that stage anything is nice.

I remember years ago I had a pot noodle before going to bed after a particularly heavy night and woke up the next morning feeling bright and breezy.
Shamefully succumbing to the cum hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy, I declared to all my friends that pot noodles could prevent hangovers and dutifully purchased a pot noodle from the garage on the next night I was terribly drunk.

It didn't work.

I find Pot Noodles help avoiding hangovers more just because it's "food" in the belly the next day and the act of making & eating the thing ensures drinking a good pint of water before sleep.

And it's about as complicated a recipe as I can handle when drunk.
