when you buy a T ticket you got the choice, weekend camping, day tickets or weekend camping with bus ticket included (making it cheaper than buying just the weekend ticket and then the bus ticket as well later)

so i bought the weekend with camping.

they are suppose to send u a reference number before the bus tickets go on sale (as you get your bus ticket through city link and not ticket master) but they fucked up with me and didnt send me the email on time.

i need a rant.
this still hasnt been sorted out.

I got an automated voicemail in work last night at 8pm saying that i now had till monday to book my ticket.

I go on today to use the reference number that they gave me way back when i booked the ticket and guess what. it still doesnt work. Still saying that i needed to book before the 15th of june.
*sigh*

i give ticketmaster a wee call again "yeah it must be citylink, you need to take it up with them" says Dom from Ticketmaster
"no" i reply, this is being dealt with through a mistake from ticketmaster, i need this fixed today"
"ill book it for you the now then using the citylink website *tap tap tap* oh they wont let me book it either, hold on a minute"
*music coz im on hold*
*guy comes back*
"the person who deals with problems like this is off today (same quote as last time) i can email him and give you a call later (same as what the other guy said last time)"
"no i want this fixed now.. i have purchased something, and now i dont have it and all the buses are booked at the times all my friends are travelling, how can you fix that?"
"well there is nothing more i can do from here except apologise and promise ill get it looked into"

Fuck sake! What a night mare. Get on the phone again, if someone says "we'll need to phone you back" tell them its not good enough, and demand to speak to his manager or someone above him. Be persistant, get everyones name and tell them you'll be writing to the companies managing director quoting them and the abysmal customer service.

I'm mad on your behalf here!

sorry guys i know you are sick of hearing about this, but heres the email/complaint i sent them.

i dont know what else to do

"I purchased a T in the Park weekend camping ticket with bus extra. A few weeks later a receive an email from ticket master stating

This email was sent out on the 21st of june when the closing date to reserve a space on the bus was the 15th of June. I phoned ticket master intermediately (on the 21st on June) and spoke to a Mike who asked me to forward the email and he would have a little look into it. Placing me on hold, he came back and explained that "the guy who usually deals with the emails that get sent is actually off today, so i will email him and telephone you later on today to sort this out". Mike did not call me back. Again i phoned ticket master and luckily i got through to Mike again (now on the 24th) he apologised for not getting back to me and stated that he had not heard anything back from the person who he sent the email to, unwilling i left it there stating that i needed this sorted as the bus that all of my friends were traveling on was going to get filled and i would need to travel myself which is not what i wanted to do.

Now after waiting a week i finally got an automated system leaving me a message saying that i had another 3 days to book my bus ticket with the same reference number. Again i go on to the citylink website and still the reference number is not working. Again i call ticket master (on the 4th of july) and this time i get through to a Dom, now he states that again the person that deals with this is off today (imagine that) and that he would call me back. I explain that the bus that i wanted to travel in was now full and i would need to arrange another form of transport so just wanted my money back. I had waited for this to get sorted and nothing was being done about it. I had bought something from ticket master and received nothing in return. He states that i cannot get a refund. I ask to speak to a manager, he puts me on hold, comes back and explains that he is sorry, there is nothing we can do today he needed to email the "account managers" and then call me back. Without confirming my contact details he ends the call.

Now i am leaving for this festival in less than a week. I have no bus ticket and no camping tickets sent to me. The tickets for the buses are and have been on sale for weeks and i cannot purchase one because Ticket master is refusing to give me back my money that i gave them to reserve one for me.

I am not happy with the service generally and also the speed at which you deal with obvious mistakes on your part. I Have lost trust in both Ticketmaster and City link who, between them, cannot seem to book one simple bus journey. I have had to since arrange alternative means of getting to T in the Park because i do not want to arrive at mid day on the Friday (which is now the earliest bus tickets now available) on my own with all my things for camping. This was suppose to be an alternative to going away on holiday with my friends. I bought these tickets thinking that i would get to travel on the bus with my friends which would have been possible if i would have waited and bought the tickets separately through city link.

It seems placing my faith in ticket master for things to go smoothly has already ruined my weekend away.

I would like for someone to get in touch with me to tell me what is going to be done to rectify this problem and i would also like a refund for the bus tickets that i will now not being able to use.

It was quite an obvious mistake on Ticket Masters part. I was not in control of when that email was sent and since then this problem as still not been fixed.
I am not traveling on a later bus because of a mistake from this company."

got it refunded today finally

the guy from customer services was very helpful and apologised for all the "wrong information" i had been given.

refunding £50 for the bus tickets, when they are only £22 on city link to buy. can you say. "rip off"
