| Moving out checklist Okay so tomorrow I’m due to sign the lease and get the keys for my first flat, at last! I’ve been making a list of general household things I need to buy (it’s about 4 pages long now ) but sod’s law will likely ensure there’s something very important I’ll forget. Suggestions of things I’ll need which I may not have thought of? Even down to condiments etc which I take for granted at home!
And any other general tips on moving out for the first time? |

| Re: Moving out checklist Make sure you have millions of cleaning products so you can scrub the place from top to bottom before you bring your stuff in. Also, that you have loads of friends to help you do this.
Say hi to your neighbours, it's nice to be nice and all that.
Good luck! |

I had a dream last night that I swapped an old TV for a fondue set. The guy I swapped with was my auntie's friend's boyfriend who died a couple of years ago. He was living in a massive house with his mum and dad and I had to stay there and he was angry at me because I'd forgotten my sleeping bag and he had to provide me with one.
Sorry, off topic, but on reading that post this dream just came flooding back into my brain.

| Re: Moving out checklist Devastator did a similar thread last year I think. There were some really good suggestions in it, but I can't remember it's name.
Edit: Apparently not Miss Devastator, but I do remember recommending her cookbooks in said thread. Damm my lack of photographic memory.
