Given that I've had the exact same conversation, with the odd spin along the lines of "You buy rose for pretty lady!" "Nope. Cheers anyway." "She thank you! *Wink*", it gets pretty creepy when they won't leave you alone. |

| Re: Warning : Rose sellers in Glasgow may be pickpockets. To be honest I don't find anything particularly offensive about the post but those are the bits I reckon will make people take issue with it.
Particulary the "but now we know at least one of em's at it" after the "its common sense anyway". Which is probably meant to mean that we are justified in keeping an eye on our bags and such on a night out but can just as easily be read as some sort of validation for dubious views.

| Re: Warning : Rose sellers in Glasgow may be pickpockets. To be honest I'm behind Scapey this time, some times it good to raise awareness. Over the last few months I've been hassled repeatedly (read every single night, you'd think they would know my face by now cause I certainly know theirs) outside the club, I have no problem with someone offering me a rose or any other such shit on the street but I take exception to constant pestering and when I say no to a rose being asked for spare change.
