| Re: Warning : Rose sellers in Glasgow may be pickpockets. Well, I heard that some boys broke into poor old Mr Sweeney's house. And they started messin' with him. And they put a bra on him!

| Re: Warning : Rose sellers in Glasgow may be pickpockets. Here, sorry to dig this thread up again... but I was standing outside Ivory Blacks last night after a gig when a few rose sellers were pestering us. One of them stood next to me and my boyfriend for good few mintues and was shoving them in my face, so I shoved them away (I was sober, but in a pretty grumpy mood!) but he kept persisting. A few seconds later I was taking my hoodie out of my bag and he just fucking stuck his hand in my bag!! I was RAGING!! It wasn't even discrete! I started shouting at him and pushed him away, but HE seemed pissed off and was like "Buy a rose then."
What a fucking knob. Still raging.

| Re: Warning : Rose sellers in Glasgow may be pickpockets. Seriously, next person I see selling roses in the street I'm going to kick him half to death.
When the police ask me about it, I'll simply point them in the direction of this thread. |

Just politely refuse. I'm sure their personal plight is worse than having to endure them for 30 seconds or whatever.

| Re: Warning : Rose sellers in Glasgow may be pickpockets. Aye but theres a difference between selling stuff and just getting rude, its quite obvious theyre not getting anywhere and they continue to shove it in your face. Some of them I dont have a problem with, and like i said, some are just rude |
