I went in once, paid a fortune for a salad and got what could only hilariously be described as a salad.
I can see why people would go there though but I'd imagine most of them buy a coffee and sit about all afternoon, which can't be very good as far as profit is concerned.

As a one off vistit yes ineffective but for customer retention POV it's a good selling point for the business and if you've provided a comfortable enough environment that people do stay for hours at a time you've done something right.

Liked the toffee muffins, the coffee was never amazing though.
Had always been put off buying food there since the first time I bought anything. Was meant to be pasta with tomato and basil sauce.......basically pasta with about a quarter of a tin of tomatoes and like two bits of fresh basil on top.....and it was like 4 fuckin quid!!!

I haven't been in ages, but I used to love their belgian waffles. Mmmm... Even the memory makes me hungry.
