US wildlife officials who tried to capture a bear that had a jar stuck on its head, have shot the animal after it wandered into a busy Minnesota town.

How about the idiot that professed to love bears and filmed himself going up to bears for about a decade, hugging them, petting them, talking to them like he was some sort of hick Jane Goodall - right up until his camcorder caught a bear taking his guts out with a well-placed swipe of its paw? Yeah, he'd convinced himself he was some kind of magic bear guru, when in fact he'd been visiting at a particular time of the year when the bears were naturally placid.
Then he took his girlfriend up to show her his magic powers, but he went around the time the bears were gorging for hibernation and eating anything they could.
They both died.
