this is without mentioning the frequency with which 23 occurs in jimmy eat world's music.

apparently there is a jim carrey movie where this happens. i don't know if i should watch it.

It's called Meaningful Coincidence or Synchronicity.

I find the same thing with the number 22, but it's just your mind playing tricks on you and constructing arbitrary patterns.
