| haunted by 23
i'm being haunted by the number 23. it's been happening for a few months now. i caught it from my friend.
a few, of many, examples.
every time i look at the clock it is 23 minutes past the hour.
my birthday is 16/07 - add them to get 23.
i was in a club about a month ago and there was a random sticker on a games machine with the number 23 - there were no other numbered stickers in the club.
i signed out some petty cash from the office the other day - something i rarely do - and the sign out number was 23.
that same day, later on, i was walking past footlocker and saw a pair of nikes with the number 23 on them. that in itself freaked me out so i took a picture to send my friend who i caught this haunting from. it saved automatically in my phone as image023.
this is without mentioning the frequency with which 23 occurs in jimmy eat world's music.
apparently there is a jim carrey movie where this happens. i don't know if i should watch it.

Happens with a load of things though? Like if your trying to avoid someone you'll think you see them a lot more than normal, when in fact you just notice it more.

It probably just means that when you turn 23 years of age, your hair will all fall out, be replaced by soft, white hair which will grow quickly, your eyes will turn to flame and you will walk the earth, raising the dead and damning the sinful, whilst God's angels rain down fire and brimstone from their holy vials, cause it TURNS OUT that you're actually Jesus, the second coming, and it's the End of Days.
Oh and it'll probably happen at 23:23.
So watch the film now before it's obliterated in the holy fire.
