I make taxi journeys at least 3 times a week and have done so for about the last 5 years. In that time there's about 4 whom I've had any problem with that I was willing to take issue on it and even thaen one of them was in Cairo.

i've never had an issue with taxi drivers in scotland, Birmingham is another matter entirely, had more than one that really made me feel uncomfortable

Last private hire driver I got was magic, on a Sunday morning at 8am in Govan. He'd just taken a woman about to give birth to hospital and kept reiterating the fact she'd been lying on the seat where I was sitting just minutes earlier but he didn't think her waters had broken. He was really pleased with himself, it was quite cute.

Then he said I looked like Tom Cruise in Risky Business cos I had my pal's (Primark) Raybans on.

i saw a brilliant walk of shame in edinburgh a couple of weeks ago - some poor guy walking along the street at 2:30pm on a sunday dressed as scooby doo (but with the head flipped back to expose his very bleary-eyed looking face).

Taxi driver tried to bump Caitlin out of a tenner on Thursday because he never had any change. After Caitlin pointing out three or four times that he kept giving us the wrong change he just gave her £20 back and we got the taxi for free.
