1) I don't come rushing in to triggerhappy's defense all the time, just when the context means i get to call danny warped stupid.

2) There's a lot of flawed logic here. No, you can't extrapolate behaviour from one member of a group to all the others (unless that behaviour is what defines the group). But firstly that doesn't mean it isn't true, just that it needn't be, and secondly, the premise is one that Triggerhappy already held, and advanced this story as one example of a pattern of behaviour that fits together with others to paint an overall picture.

It's quite possible this particular driver always indicates, never double parks on sauchiehall street, looks both ways before doing a U-turn...

But anyone who drives in town at night can probably understand why someone would feel perturbed by the driving habits of a large proportion of taxi drivers.

so, back on topic, i waited outside Campus for just over an hour a couple of weeks ago, and the ENTIRE time i was there, a taxi driver was double parked next to another taxi so the two could talk to each other. i reckon he inconvenienced several hundred people during that hour.

Taxi drivers are cunts, but purely because they'll fail to show up when you've ordered one, then claim that they waited and no-one appeared. Despite the fact I was watching out the window the entire time.

I know some crackin' taxi drivers. One of the guys I went to college who works as a taxi driver at night who'd give me a lift and that when I was in town.

I'm only weary of taxi drivers when i'm in another country or something and they try and rip me off. For example, when we were in Prague, there was 7 of us so we needed to get 2 taxi's up to the arena and like we were in the first one and went miles ahead of the other taxi and the cunt stopped at the side of the road to "let the other taxi catch up" with us, and left the meter running. EH NAW MATE. JUST DRIVE.
