| 02 insurance claim What's generally the craic with 02's contracts and insurance?
I know if you break you're phone and you have insurance you pay £25 excess to get a new one/get it fixed or if its knicked, but what happens if you lose it?
Still £25? |

| Re: 02 insurance claim It's baws.
I pay the premium insurance for my phone and I'm told it's still £25 to get anything put through it........not what I was told when I signed up with them but then as a string of a things are different to what I'd initially been told, I think the lassie in the shop musta been fucked when she was giving me info.

| Re: 02 insurance claim I don't think it's too bad. £25 for a new iPhone after I dropped it down the stairs was a-ok with me. |

| Re: 02 insurance claim If you think that's shite, wait till they force you to BUY the handset even if you are on a contract (think its coming in withing the next month).
That's right, no more free handsets...it's because they can't sell em. |

Also, £25 seems like a good deal now and I've gone and lost the replacement the following weekend.... |

| Re: 02 insurance claim I'm the queen of losing my phone, I'm with Orange, the only time I've had to pay for a replacement was when left it for more then a day to report it as missing. The woman that had my phone also ran up £300 worth of calls that I was liable for Other than that one occasion Orange have been brilliant, think it's like a tenner to get your new phone delivered and that's it. |

| Re: 02 insurance claim It makes no sense though.... it basically means my insurance doesnt cover me for anything?
It happened less than 48 hours ago...
What If I lost it at 2am, and called them to report it missing at 2:30 and all sorts of calls had been made within that 30minutes - they are telling me I still need to pay it?
Anyone from 02 clarify? fucking joke insurance.
They told me £24 worth of international calls had been used so far since saturday but the system takes 24 hours to update so "more calls may come through..." so fuck knows.
Absolutely baffled, I feel as if Ive been robbed twice. |

| Re: 02 insurance claim Aye, you're not covered until you call to bar it. You're supposed to call immediately. As far as i know it'll be in your terms and conditions for your insurance.

. | That was exactly what happened to me, a lot of the calls were to Nigeria, I tried toe xplain that I'd been a customer for almost two years and had never made a call outside of Scotland etc, but made no difference. Insurance covers lost or stolen and in certain scenarios damage, but if they can pin it on you they normally do, that's been my experience anyway. |
