| ILA pay threshold increase? Does anyone know when the ILA pay threshold increase is likely to happen?
Their website says summer 2009 in the news section, but the bit where you apply doesn't currently let you if you don't meet the previous requirements. I'm aiming to start a course in September, but I suspect the ones I want to do will get booked up quickly |

| Re: ILA pay threshold increase? I phoned up few days back, don't think they have a set date yet. But it gets raised to 22k.

| Re: ILA pay threshold increase? Try phoning them and asking to request an application for the future changes? Because its definately happening, they might allow it.

| Re: ILA pay threshold increase? I'm sure I read on the Paisley site the other day it was August 1 2009 that it was changing. Can't find where I read it now though.
EDIT: Found it: http://blackboard.uws.ac.uk/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp |

My father, ever the optimist, said they'd probably run out of money for it. Cheers Dad. |

| Re: ILA pay threshold increase? With this post I thought you meant they were supposed to be increased the amount they paid out to the institution. You got my hopes up there, £500 is fair enough I supose.

What is it you want to do anyways? Just out of interest.

As far as I'm aware, I couldn't do an HND in the evening? Work full time so I have no other option. |

You can search for courses on http://www.learndirectscotland.com/

I had originally planned on just doing a diddy course in something, just to get my brain in gear again. Seems odd to do an HND after an MA
Awesome! Just found an HND in tech support that does evening classes in Paisley - not necessarily what I want to do but good to know it's out there.
