Papped it into Google and came up with
this rather scary thread from MSE. Now I'm not one to believe sensationalist scaremongering, but I could really do with not having some random company taking money from me for nothing.
I've never signed up for any shit like that, and very rarely put my real phone number on anything at all.
Could this be some arsehole with my number signing me up for shit? Is it possible for them to charge my account without my explicit permission?
I suspect it's just some kind of phishing attempt, but thought I'd check with the O2 bods on here (or anyone else who might know) before doing anything. Obv don't plan to respond but I'm thinking it might be worth getting o2 to stop any chargeable texts on my account.
