We're forming an band based around this concept and the Takara Transformer series;


Our first song is titled 'Metalhawk Cannae Kick a Baw'. Of course, being that King Poseidon is a gestalt we need to figure out a way of getting all 6 members of the band to combine.

Any help on subject is greatly appreciated.

Rorshach from the Watchmen will be popular now that folk can identify him.

Googling the "Big Daddy" reveals a shitload of folk that have done it...and not all of them were as good as that guy's costume. Although I don't think he had the working drill hand that I've planned on making.

The drill is fairly easy; I can even hide the switch for my wearable Christmas lights in the handle (which would run up the arm and illuminate the inside of the dome with a red glow). Finding something dome-shaped is going to be the biggest problem...

Paper mache would have been my first choice, but I would also like my costume to be able to withstand a ned's punch or two, after last year's experience in Central Station.

You could paint the paper mache with a couple of coats of automotive fibreglass resin. It would waterproof the dome at the same time.
