| Too early to think about Halloween costumes?: The Sequel Almost 2 and a half months to go; anybody going for some fancy shit will no doubt have started planning/making/gathering bits and bobs for their costume by now. So what's everybody's plans?
After learning a lesson or two from last year, I am going for a costume that a) doesn't require a path to be cleared before doing anything, b) negates the chance that I'll get stuck in a toilet cubicle again, and c) is sturdy enough to stand up to a ned's punch.
My main-and-back-up ideas...
Yes, it is the Big Daddy. And yes, it will be easier to manouver in this thing than last year. I've already sourced/made enquiries about the necessary bits and bobs. Having a brother work for B&Q is a Godsend.
The back-up idea is piss easy to make, completely original, and requires an Action Man. And I'm keeping shtum about it for now. |

| Re: Too early to think about Halloween costumes?: The Sequel You will get hunners of cunts as Michael Jackson this year. Fuckin ton on it.
But this year Halloween falls on a Saturday, so I'll be playing rugby that day. Home against Moffat. So aye, I have a few ideas swirling about the now but I won't reveal it just now.

| Re: Too early to think about Halloween costumes?: The Sequel I have no idea, hopefully something that doesn't involve me gettin my arse skelpt every two minutes this year. Was at a wedding last year, first Hallowe'en ever of not dressing up.

| Re: Too early to think about Halloween costumes?: The Sequel Trying to predict what else will be a common sight, other than Micheal Jackson and hired Scooby Doo costumes, etc...as far as films, TV and the news from this year go, I can't think of many memorable characters. Someone might have the balls/ingenuity/lack of a social life to go for the "actual transforming Transformer", and Rorshach from the Watchmen will be popular now that folk can identify him.
There'll be a fair few Josef Fritzl's, holding blue folders up to their faces. Maybe even a zombie "Charlie's Angels" or two for your sick-but-not-really-that-sick factor. Other than that, I think it'll be a fairly open selection of costumes this year. |

I like that one, y'know, classic comic joker, old school, wae paint all over the moustache.
