[Environment] Spiders be getting fucking HUGE!

Anyone noticing how big house spiders are getting? I saw one the other day that when I caught it under a fucking baked beans tin it's legs still stuck out the side of it in places. These fuckers are even bigger than the huntsmen spiders I used to see in Australia!

I blame global warming/el nino/the labour government/asylum seekers/single mums/the credit crunch

i had one with the span bigger than my hand scuttling across my living room floor one night. I live in the top flat as well, never see em! Makes ma back squirm!!

Has anyone spotted these wee jumping spiders? There was one in the bedroom, wee thing not even as big as a penny, but it jumped, was crazy!! I kept it for a while, called it Frank. Yoji loves spiders as well, luckily

Ive noticed over the past four or five years that house spiders are getting bigger......to the point where you can nearly hear them running across the floor.

This just wandered up my wall, from somewhere beneath my desk.



It has now fallen off the pin-board onto my printer, with a very audible 'thump'. I'm normally okay with spiders, but when they are happily growing to this size and hiding in parts of the bedroom I use a lot (as opposed to, say, behind the dresser in the hall), it's a sign that I perhaps don't tidy up as much as I should.

Come to think of it, this may well be Ethel, the big beauty that stayed motionless on my ceiling for three days before disappearing without a trace. It would certainly be reassuring to know that she just changed her camping spot and I didn't swallow her one night.

See, that's the kinda spider I remember seeing as a kid. This leads me to conclude that, no, they're not getting bigger. And now I want beans.

We had one so big a few years ago that my bros friend thought one of my pet ratshad escaped. They're getting massive, its apparently cos the weathers gettgin warmer.
