[Misc] Event: Good filming locations in Glasgow/Edinburgh?

I'm looking for various different locations to shoot a short film and was wondering if people could help me locate some good places, if I post up some images..

Firstly, I am looking for somewhere with an elevator that looks like this:



one with the external metal criss cross shutters, and possibly an internal door that slides over..

If you have images, that woudl be PERFECT!

I'll think of some more shots and post them here..

the only elevator I know like that is in Frasers.

Good luck getting anything filmed in there though!

There's a cage lift kinda like that in the old English Lit part of the Main Building at Glasgow Uni. Think it'd probably be quite difficult to get in and film there too.

Fairy Funny in St Enoch Sq IIRC. Some of the older red brick hotels and office buildings on Renfield St might be worth a goosey.

I remember the old Argyle Street market used to have one.

Dunno if you can get into that building anymore tho, not sure what it is now :/

Remnant Kings next to Frasers has something like that too.

You kidding? We used to do that at GUST all the time

Unless you mean space wise, not permission wise, in which case, a small DV camera might help.
