£8.90 for an open return on the Citylink Bus. £6 single.

Book at Megabus and it's £3.50 for a single

How long till you're gonna be travelling?

You could see if it's cheaper to bus to Livingston from Glasgow then onwards to Edinburgh?

(Or equivalent town in the middle - Bathgate perhaps?)

There might be some random combination thats cheaper (but a lot more hassle) then the other services. Last time I went to Livi from Edinburgh it was about £4 return (I think - definatly less then a fiver).

Yes, that's a shit idea :P apart from the fact it will take twice as long, it will probablly cost twice as much as well, since West Lothian bus prices are nearly double Glasgow ones.

You can get a £1.80 single or £2.90 return on weekdays on thetrainline.com if you get the crosscountry train at 6am or 9am.
