Unhappy Long hair vs short hair

Please Excuse My Vanity... BUT!

I've had (or rather ' I had') long hair for eight years, and I got it cut (savaged!) last Monday, and I've been told various things, most of them positive (from the speaker's point of view, but not from mine!) . For example, someone in my work says I now look 'much more mature' and 'less like a student'. Wah!

One of my aunts said 'your hair is cool!' on my way out of the door the other day. Wah!

Even though it was still quite long, before I visited the dreaded City Barber's on Union St., the last time I had let someone near enough to cut it, they had mangled it, and various folk suggested a short cut to sort it out. After lots of nagging I just went for it, but my advice to anyone else wondering what they'd look like with short hair after years of having it long is... just keep wondering!!

Ach well, at least playing football will be easier now.

Wah!

Yep....I used to prefer long hair, now I prefer short hair......especially short, fuzzy hair

I made the mistake of chopping mine off. Still have about 2/3 years of growing before its back down to my ass.

Nope. Well, not yet anyway.

Like I say everyone's comments, (bar one fellow cathouse goer who says my previous hair was better) have been positive. But I know I've done wrong!

I think I'll just wear my hat even more, or something till it grows back. Which will take a while.

I used to have shoulder length hair, then I got it brutally cropped, thus provoking yells of 'DYKE' from certain people.
Although short hair was basically less trouble that longer hair, I did tend to obsess over spiking it to perfection, which is really quite sad.

I haven't had my hair cut since August- it's turning into a mullet

But hmm.. I've decided to go for a change and grow it. Apparently, longer hair makes me 'look about 20' (I'm 16). However, i was informed by Darren that I already looked 20 so there wasn't much difference in that respect.

I've got pretty short hair. A couple of times I've flirted with growing it, but each time I've realised it just isn't suited to being of any great length. It's gets to a certain length, and then doubles back on itself and gets bushier (and let's face it, anyone who knows me knows how thick my hair is)

Dreads look like a colony of birds has nested on your head for about a year. If you want a good all purpose haircut then you can't go wrong with a 2 all over. Strange how getting a skinhead these days can make you look respectable
