i'm gonna phone in sick again. trying to stay awake to phone in at 9 as I slept until 11 yesterday and didnt phone in til then  oops. | |

I am not off sick much but if I ever am, it is having to be awake to call someone by about 8.30 that does me in when I just want to sleep and get rid of whatever bug I have.
Worse still is when people I work with get their husbands to call in for them when they have a cold or something. Usually on a Monday or Friday on a sunny day or when they were going away for the weekend

one time I got this girl that I just met to phone in sick for me after I hurt my finger climbing a statue, my work assumed she was my partner.
my latest sickie was fake, I had to get a 10,000 word report done for uni because this mad nedette wasnt happy with it, fuckin great help she was I tell u that. She failed at the end. | |

it was so weird when i stopped working in tescos, they told me it was cool not to go in and work my notice cause i'd done like 6 years, but i was in such a habit i got up and changed before realising i never worked there anymore!
no way would i've handed in my notice if i'd not secured this job, but i did leave a well earned couple of weeks between the two!! | |

Wahoo - a lovely solicitor I work with just called me to say he is driving 250 miles to here in October to take me to lunch as I have been doing too much work for a year. No reason for it. He is just taking me to lunch. Let the good times roll!
