see, I am doubtful as to whether McManus is a 16 either, going by the pic i saw the other day. However she is quite short so maybe that explains it.

She was on Children In Need the other week (embarassed as I am that I watched it) and there is no way she's a 16, or even an 18 unless she's four feet tall. She has lost loads of weight and has done really well. But a 16 nope, not yet.

Yes, I have my doubts too. My flatmate even bought size 16 cords a while ago, and she's positively skinny, normally a size12/14. Michelle McManus is at LEAST an 18. Unless she's buying from somewhere like Principles or some 'fat-persons-place-which-sells-clothes-a-size-smaller-so-they-feel-skinnier-and-they'll-buy-more-clothes-there sort of place'. Poor dear.

They say Marilyn Monroe was a 16, as for the recent pics of Michelle Mcmanus,I'd say she's what they call a 'generous' 16, they say the same about Fern Britton off the morning tv programme...I think they're at it, it's an insult to those that are a 16. Good on her for losing the weight though , it couldn't have been healthy.

The catty aint exactly a celebrity 'haunt' though, although some of the folk that go there think they are..! miaow.

I've only ever seen some band members in the Catty- KMFDM, Body Count, members of Slipknot ,a chick from River City, ex Rangers player Amuruso(who shot the crow after 10 mins) , Marc Almond (who was paid to be there) and some bloke who was contestant on a tv Game show.


I was at film wrap party at the CCA a couple of years ago and asked Ewan McGregor to go to the Catty (me and free wine don't mix), he politely declined..!

I saw Shane Ritchie in the Garage once though..he was doing a musical show before he was Alfie on Eastenders.
