| Re: Celebrity Spotting My father in law got stuck in a doorway with him on great western road—actually wedged, i gather. They were going into / coming out of the tiny ironmonger/electrical place, and did the dance of the polite "no you first" / "no you first" etc, til they both went at once and got tangled amongst the brooms and ironing boards.
For the benefit of the story, it took 12 firemen to free them.

| Re: Celebrity Spotting I walked passed Terry Waite in London many years ago. He was walking down the street with a big smile on his face as if he hadn't seen the outside world in a long time. Weird!!
This was eclipsed 5 minutes later though when I walked passed Gordon Kaye who was a superstar at the time in his legendary role of Rene in Allo Allo.

| Re: Celebrity Spotting David Carradine (Bill from Kill Bill) stayed in the hotle I work in, he stomped past me and stole cutlery off a table I'd JUST SET pffft. Also I met frank Kelly who plays Father Jack in Father Ted and I asked if I could help him, sir and he said "No, I'm just looking for some friends". BEAST!
Also, other celebrities whove stayed in the hotel are
Van Morisson - in his FOUR PAGE list of requests it stated that "members of staff must not lookVan Morisson in the eye" maybe he is Medusa?
Britney Spears- well, she came in for a drink
Beyonce Knowles
Jamie Cullum (but who cares about him)
Princess Anne (there was guys armed to the teeth all over the floor that she was on)
others that I've forgotten. Do I win? |
