for those of you in edinburgh or for those who care, studio 24 got a reprieve at the licencing hearing on monday and shall remain OPEN!! subject to £20, 000 worth of soundproofing! a triumph for us! huzzah!  |

Cool...is it the club who is having to fork out £20,000 or do the builders who built the flats without adequate soundproofing contributing (that did happen, right, I'm not thinking of The Venue?). | |

well, the contractors who built the flats behind the club got planning permission on the basis that they properly soundproof the flats, but they didnt... so the studios are now looking to recoup some of the costs from the contractors.... | |

last time i was there i felt like a granny, was full of little boys n girls in korn n slipknot hoodies, black fingerless gloves and laughable makeup. is this always the case or do older people go too?
