Foo Fighters & Kaiser Chiefs - Edinburgh Shows

Link

Xfm can exclusively reveal that the Foo Fighters and Kaiser Chiefs will be playing the massive T On The Fringe gigs at Edinburgh's Meadowbank Stadium in August

With festival season well and truly on its way, and announcements are being made left right and centre.

In Scotland however, Edinburgh is dedicating its entire capital city to the festival cause for a few weeks during July and August, serving as a new home for comedians, musicians, thespians, tourists, media layabouts and all manner of Fringe Festival events.

Last year’s Meadowbank Stadium served as the location for last year’s T On The Fringe gigs with the likes of Radiohead, Muse and Beck all performing.

This year the T On The Fringe looks set to be equally impressive, and Xfm are proud to announce that the Foo Fighters headlining on Tuesday August 21 while Friday August 24 sees the mighty Kaiser Chiefs topping the bill.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on Wednesday March 21 at 9:30am and will be available from www.tonthefringe.com or on the Ticketmaster Hotline on 0870 169 0100

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edit: Foos could now be announced as Chili Pepper's guests in Glasgow.

Re: Foo Fighters & Kaiser Chiefs - Edinburgh Shows

The Pixies gig (Don't remember if it was T on the fringe or not... ) was pretty damn good. The opportunity to build sand castles in the long jump pits was an unexpected bonus.

Nine Inch Nails and Silversun Pickups are the supporting acts for the Foos, and there are still tickets on sale.
