| Re: Connect Festival at Inverary Castle I know people who've picked up weekend camping tickets for £80.
It's been far from a sell out, in my opinion they did a piss poor job of making any "Buzz" about it. A new festival to rival the several in the UK already isn't gonna quietly slip in the back door and sell out.
Still I'm glad it won't be as heaving as TintheP or Leeds, if it's good I hope it does well enough to make a second appearance next year though.

| Re: Connect Festival at Inverary Castle I think its location has put folk off as well.
Leeds was far too busy. espescially on the Sunday, so this'd be a lot nicer.

| Re: Connect Festival at Inverary Castle Worst thing about its location is the fact that there's only really one road in or out.
Anyone else noticed that they're now charging for parking?
And the forum has always been "coming soon". At least Leeds had a big forum with regular updates.
I'm looking forward to the festival but its easy to see why people aren't exactly rushing to buy tickets. Even their new advertising says "big bands, small crowds". |

Disorganised doesn’t begin to cover it.

| Re: Connect Festival at Inverary Castle Since i didn't book our tickets i can't check this but, do you have a confirmation email for the weekend tickets? If so, does it mention parking anywhere?
I think this parking fee is just them trying to scam more money out of people because of poor ticket sales. |

| Re: Connect Festival at Inverary Castle The weekend camping tickets have notices on the back saying that you cannot take a car without one of the separate parking tickets.
The problem is that car park tickets only recently went on sale, and only directly from Ticketmaster (which means that the quoted twelve quid is bollocks—once Ticketmaster finish slapping fees on top they actually cost twenty).
On top of that, they seem to be sold out already.

| Re: Connect Festival at Inverary Castle Parking tickets no longer available in advance and ticketmaster take 5-7 days to send stuff out anyway. Its a complete fucking joke because when we bought our tickets there was absolutely no mention of parking tickets as parking was included.
If we'd known this festival was going to turn out like this then we'd have gone to Beautiful Days instead. So much for Connect being easier to get to. |

On top of that, they seem to be sold out already. | I got my parking ticket a few weeks back, after ticket master charges it was £16 which is fucking ridiculous and I was well pissed off. Latest email that connect just sent out says that parking tickets are no longer available to buy online but there will be limited numbers available on the day. So if you get there early enough I guess it should be ok.
I'm aiming to get to the festival by 9am on Friday, hope it's not going to be a jammed road all the way in!

Did anyone else book a pre-erected tent from Tangerine Fields? |

There's no way I'll get out of work early enough to just drive up and try. Any ideas if I'd be likely to find one at ticket scotland?
