Anyway, not my cup of tea really, but I'd like to see it back. | Connect is deff back I heard off a good few people this weekend that the rumoured headliners are Kraftwerk, Tom Petty and My Bloody Valentine.

| Re: Download Festival 2008 Since Attica's cancelled our planned Euro tour this summer to be able to do the Metal Camp festival instead, means it free us up to head to Donington this year
Definitely going for 3 of the bands I've been listening to since I was a nipper - KISS, Motorhead and Judas Priest. Can't miss these 3 bands on the same Donington bill! Not fussed about much of the others confirmed so far but I like Chris Cornell's solo stuff and I'm interested in checking out the Cavalera brothers - kinda went off Sepultura after Max left and never really got into Soulfly so this might be interesting. |

KORN frontman Jonathan Davis has cancelled a number of dates on his previously announced "Alone I Play" European tour in May/June, reportedly due to "personal reasons." Cancelled shows include those in Stockholm (Sweden), Belgium, France, and most of the UK leg of the tour, which was scheduled to kick off late May.
For his recent U.S. solo tour, Jonathan Davis drew from a wide variety of material, including a number of selections that Davis composed for the soundtrack of the movie "Queen of the Damned", along with obscure KORN tracks and selected cover tunes. Many of the songs had never been performed live before. Davis took out a five-piece band that included current KORN touring guitarist Shane Gibson and the band's touring keyboardist, Zac Baird.
Looks like he's not doing Donnington.

| Re: Download Festival 2008 That's a fucking great spot for Alter Bridge to be in. Thirrd day looks wank as fuck on the main stage, apart from Jimmy.
Odds on the Cavalera Conspiracy headlining the second stage, and just belting out classic Sepultura songs? Might just be worth it, especially with Bodom before them.
