Fixed
The first time I saw them was 23 years ago, and they were the support band, tickets were only 6 quid.

| Re: Bon Jovi - 2008 Tour I've just had to give my ticket away because I can't make the trip up.
Although I do have good compensation: Gold circle and backstage passes for the upcoming Def Leppard/Whitesnake and Meatloaf gigs next month here in Liverpool. |

At the Springsteen show I was at on Saturday (millenium stadium), all tickets were £55. To get in to the 'Golden Circle', you just showed up at 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, the day before and 12am and 6am on the day and got wrist bands and a number. Then you could go away for a while so long as you came back for the roll call. At that point a number was drawn and the person with that number gets to the front of the queue, followed in numerical order by the higher numbers, and finally the lower numbers.
This means that it's random who's at the front and not those who wait all day for it (or pay ). |

At least you know where you are when you pay extra and are guaranteed to be at the front.
I'd prefer it if they just opened the gates and let folk run to the front. Survival of the fittest and all that. That's how Live 8 worked, me and my mate agreed we'd sprint to the front once the gates opened. It's just a shame we're both unfit bastards and were quickly overtaken by everyone else, only to stop for a break before walking the rest of the way. |

| Re: Bon Jovi - 2008 Tour Saw hunners of the worst cunts ever filling the streets on their way home from this gig earlier, all decked out in their wee ponchos, as my dad gave me a lift home from Cathcart. We tactically drove through any puddles we passed at the perfect speed and time to ensure that as many morons as possible got soaked; Proper father/son bonding time, that.
Saw a few spazzy bastards wandering about with Scotland flags draped over their shoulders. You KNOW a band's fanbase has hit rock bottom when those guys are at the gigs. Why the fuck do they do it? Do they really think that by wearing a Scottish flag to a rock concert, people are gonna see it as they walk past and excitedly shout "Oh, that's AMAZING - a SCOTTISH guy... In SCOTLAND!"? Or do they think Bon Jovi need some kind of huge reminder of what country they're playing in? |

| Re: Bon Jovi - 2008 Tour The truth is it wouldn't surprise me if Bon Jovi needed reminded what country they are in.
However I doubt they would be able to tell a nation from it's flag

| Re: Bon Jovi - 2008 Tour Well I thought that was pretty good! Never seen them before so I decided this would be the one time I would. They put on a great show and I was quite surprised at just how many old songs they played. So happy to hear always and living on a prayer!
