Hating karaoke and karaoke are very different things.
Hating karaoke will generally only bring you into contact with a karaoke machine to smash it, for instance. | |

I used to work in a karaoke bar in the Trongate.
I'm surprised I'm still alive to be honest. There's only so many times you can listen to "Sweet Caroline" without crying tears of frustration. That number is two.
I must have listened to that song being belted out impossibly badly about 100 times. URGH. *Cries

Aye, I worked in the Garage for a while and often ended up having to work in Snapshots while the karaoke was on. It's not as much fun when you're sober, not participating and don't have a choice whether or not to leave the room  | |

I worked in The Steamie were the kareoke was amazing due to not a single person taking it seriously
Apart from Michelle because she could actually sing. That done my tits in.

I do only tend to enjoy it when im drunk, as it means im surrounded by people. Rock karoke used to be good in catwalk, baws now. I hope im not working the night of this, knowing my fucking luck i am.
