I have it on good authority that if you go to Blythswood Square at 6.30 PM this Sunday, Frank Black from the Pixies will be playing a free accoustic set of some kind in the park.

As far as I can tell he does this at all of his gigs - there was an interview with him in the Skinny where he was talking about it. It's free anyway so nothing ventured, nothing gained and whatnot.

Maybe he’s doing his soundcheck, then heading off outside to play acoustic tunes until stage time.
That would really piss off his support bands.
