| Connect Festival 2008 The website has finally been updated! No line-up information yet but you can join the mailing list so you are notified when they put stuff up. The dates will be the same as last year; Friday 29th August - Sunday 31st August http://www.connectmusicfestival.co.uk/content/ Quote:
The Duke of Argyll is looking forward to welcoming a new set of revellers into his scenic castle grounds to enjoy a range of music, food and drink in the stunning setting on the banks of Loch Fyne in August 2008. We’ve heard he has kept in touch with the Beastie Boys and often has them round for afternoon tea.
Very soon the first announcements of this year’s superb line up will be made and while we can only share bits of information at this point we can guarantee that it will be as groundbreaking, diverse and legendary as last year.
Of course, Connect is about so much more than music, and over the coming months a series of telegrams and messenger pigeons will carry news of all the wonderful attractions you can expect to encounter at Connect 2008. For now the information still remains confidential, but if you sign up the mailing list you will be amongst the first to hear what delights we have in store.

I'm not holding out much hope for the other stages. |

| Re: Connect Festival at Inverary Castle Hmm...aye, i think the only band i'm particularly bothered about in that lineup is Sigur Ros.

Bet it draws way better than last year though, I'm afraid.

| Re: Connect Festival 2008 Last year’s was a bit special, but only at the headline level. The bulk of the acts over the weekend were bog-average.

| Re: Connect Festival 2008 It's a pretty hit-and-miss line-up. I fancy the Levellers, Breeders, Sigur Ros and the Manics but that's about it. |
