Yeah, at one point i thought they'd started playing Private Eye again. Quite annoying that I've seen them play shit with good sound, play shit with shit sound and now play good with shit sound. I think that title goes to Warbrain; although there is some great stuff on the One Man army Split too - the original Sadie for example.
I thought they majorly sucked at leeds, also thought they sounded like they started Private Eye more than once.
Garage show was much much better, what I saw of it anyway, was busy shotuin down the phone at some people for most of it.

Well, I've covered their piss stinkin' Leeds set in Part III of my review. No edits were made to part I, none really need done to part II or III, few enough articles get posted these days but you'll still have to wait for someone to make sure that it isn't in Swahili before you can read it.
I still have no idea why AN has editors, it's not as if the big PR companies are sending records or reading our shit. Once you have 1 article allowed then your other articles shouldn't take 3 days to appear, any editing is more likely to remove character. And right now AN needs some fuckin' character. Uniformity starts with uniform, and I gave that shit up when I left the Gang Show. I thought we were meant to have a pair. Editors cover that pair with non-offensive silk panties, designed to give erections to robots.
In fact, fuck it. I want my articles published exactly as they were written, I'm happy with what i wrote, i wrote 5500 words for free. Publish it or bin it. When I'm writing for Q magazine I'll accept being edited. I've never had a description or reason for anything I've written that's ever been edited. Surely it should be up to the writer about whether the edited version is the one which is published? Any editing that is done to an article is wrong unless the writer is asked how they feel about the edit prior to publishing.
You can't insist on articles being edited without the writer being involved, that could result in a comment being rewritten by one single letter and losing it's original meaning. I want to know who edits what i submit, what they change and why they changed it. Surely not too much to ask for if an unaltered article can be posted in a mere 48 hours.
