| Re: Amanda Palmer - UK Sep/Oct 2008 Bryan beat me to it but yeah... Hopefully this time Lapsus Linguae won't be playing. Not that I have a problem with them, it's just that every gig they play is always full of absolute arseholes. This gig is at Tut's though which has a much better PA than the ABC2, so hopefully we might actually hear some music this time!
It didn't help that Amanda was hungover as fuck last time and thus played a much quieter set but hey.

| Re: Amanda Palmer - UK Sep/Oct 2008 Well Lapsus only exist just like Guns n roses exist, both are working on albums that will never come out. My moneys on Lou Hickey getting the support. |

| Re: Amanda Palmer - UK Sep/Oct 2008 Agreed completely.
ABC2 shows are always too quiet though, I've never been to a gig there where I haven't desperately wanted it to be louder.

| Re: Amanda Palmer - UK Sep/Oct 2008 The Data Panik and Mylo gig I went to there was spot on. Plenty loud enough.

| Re: Amanda Palmer - UK Sep/Oct 2008 Got my ticket and can't wait! She's one of the best live acts going, totally captivating and the intimacy of Tut's should make it even better. Shame the Dolls aren't coming here on their UK tour as I missed them last time.
That Lapsus were strange, was the guy trying to do Groucho Marx jokes or something? We walking in half way through and weren't sure if they were a bad comedy act or a shite band. Shouldn't be too hard on them maybe as it was the crowd who were being dicks.
I read something recently about the lead singer from Lapsus joining forces with another band and I'm sure I like the other band and was getting a bit worried but I've completely forgotten who it is and it's bugging me. Anyone know?
