was it the original version of Insomnia or the one that came out last year? Much as the original version is superb, the amesz/gelderblom one leaves you waiting around for the vocal bit / synthy breakdown bit rather less, in a way.

was the version off of the greatest hits album - so probably the original. i didn't bother getting that one you mentioned. the other one i play is the armand van helden remix (with the big ringing bells breakdown bit in the middle) - it's an absolute stonker - and i don't use that word lightly! it's been my hogmanay bells tune for a few years now = always a winner.
