SPEEDTHEORY play February SIN

SIN is Glasgow's ONLY heavy metal club night. Incorporating live bands from 8pm to 11pm and DJs playing heavy shit from 11pm into the wee small hours of the morning, SIN is the highlight of the month for Glasgow's metal community.

Music Policy: NO INDIE, NO EMO, NO HIP HOP, NO "BEATS," NO SHITE!

February will be a big month for SIN for a number of reasons, not lease because our run of awesome travelling bands will continue with one of the UK's most promising thrash metal outfits, SPEEDTHEORY!

Supports will be announced soon.

Plus DJ Quzzy (Co-Exist) will be playing the very best in heavy metal including:

IRON MAIDEN - SLAYER - MEGADETH - LAMB OF GOD - ARCH ENEMY - JUDAS PRIEST - DIO - CANNIBAL CORPSE - ICED EARTH - METALLICA - MASTODON - MAYHEM - HELLOWEEN - PANTERA - DEATH - CARCASS - NAPALM DEATH - TESTAMENT - OVERKILL - MORBID ANGEL - DEVILDRIVER - OPETH and much, much more!

SIN takes place on the last Friday of every month at the Soundhaus, 47 Hydepark St, Glasgow. February SIN is on the 29th of February and doors open 8pm. Tickets are available in advance from Tickets Scotland, Argyle St, Glasgow, 0870 220 1116 and www.ticketweb.co.uk - alternatively tickets can be purchased on the door.

Re: SPEEDTHEORY play February SIN

We're über pleased to announce that as of February, SIN will be returning to its two room format!

Room 1 will feature Scott from Achren playing current and classic metal favourites from the likes of Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Motörhead, Pantera, Machine Head, Lamb of God, Arch Enemy, Sepultura and Black Sabbath.

Room 2 will be Quzzy's domain. The Co-Exist drummer will be playing all things hard, fast, heavy and extreme from Cannibal Corpse, Death, Morbid Angel, Napalm Death, Zyklon, Celtic Frost, Immortal, Gorgoroth, Vader, Cryptopsy, Nasum and many more!

Our relationships with top labels including Metal Blade, Earache, Roadrunner and Season of Mist mean that SIN is the first place to hear the tunes you're going to be banging your head to in the months to come. The venue also has a new selection of quality beers including Fraoch and Grozet!

Don't settle for bland, sterile pseudo-rock nights full of skinny kids with side sheds! Come out and join us in celebrating METAL in all its forms!

Re: SPEEDTHEORY play February SIN

Supports for this months SIN will be:

Shoot The Messenger - Female fronted metal alternating between melodic and crushingly heavy.
Centuries Cry - Impossibly talented Glaswegian melodic thrash.
Firing Blanks - An unholy collision of groove packed thrash and death.

February will also see the return of the SIN Girls - our very own troupe of alternative performance artists.

Four bands, two DJs, big screen horror movies, hot metal chicks. How much more can you get for six quid!?
