| Barfly....stupid drink prices!
£4.80 for a double vodka and coke? cheap as fuck vodka aswell!
I then bought a single vodka and a bottle of the rip off blue WKD they have.........£4.90
What right does a fucking dive like the barfly have to charge this AT A GIG! i would MAYBE understand if it was the nightclub, but at a gig?
come on to fuck!

It's cheaper when there's a club on. The poof juice/vodka/whiskey/gin all drop to £1.50. That's what happens when it's folk fae London that set your prices. | |

Its a fucking dump anyway haha i was shocked when he said £4.80, its not even that in tiger tiger!
there was 2 gigs on last night and thats the busiest iv seen it for gigs but everyone i spoke to didnt want to drink cos of the prices
in all fairness we got smashed down the clydeside before hand

It's £2.80 a pint at gigs and at New Year it was too. Don't get me wrong, i'd expect to pay that in a swanky bar but a watery pint of Carling in the Barfly in a shitty plastic cup when my feet are sticking to the floor? Crap. | |

Its usually that way at gigs, -everywhere i've ever been to anyway... With a gig, they are playing on the fact that you want to see the band, so therefore, have to come to their venue to see it, and so they can charge whatever they like, where-as with the night club, there is lots of choice, so they have to attract you in, i.e. with cheap drinks. Catty used to do this for years, but it changed when the daily drinks promos came into effect, its the only place I know that does promos during gigs. | |
